Durlav Chandra Mahanta was the founder, president of preparatory committee and Governing Body of our College. He was one of the few who translated a dynamic idea to establish a college at Cinnamara in 1991. He is now 90. Still he is very energetic and always wants to introduce a new innovative away at our college.

The full bust of this dynamic personality was constituted by the employee unit of the College in collaboration with the well-wishers of Shri Durlav Chandra Mahanta as a mark of honour and was inaugurated on 1st June, 2018, the foundation day of the College.
